Tom Planishek

Tom Planishek has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Tom began their career at Parsons Corporation in 2006, where they held various roles including Engineering Systems Manager and Project Manager. In 2009, they transitioned to the position of Business Development & Project Manager in the Power Delivery & Renewables sector. In 2013, they joined Balfour Beatty US as a Senior Manager for Project Solutions, before becoming Director and subsequently Project Executive. In 2019, they joined Clancy & Theys Construction Company as the Vice President and Charlotte Division Manager.

Tom Planishek holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Wake Forest University School of Business, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they attended Philadelphia University from 2000 to 2005, where they received a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree. In addition to their educational background, Tom has obtained several certifications, including South Carolina Construction Man and South Carolina General Contractor from the Labor, Licensing and Regulation Department of South Carolina in December 2020 and September 2020, respectively. Tom also holds a North Carolina General Contractor certification from the North Carolina General Contractor Licensing Board, which they obtained in July 2019.
