Rich Powell

Rich Powell has a diverse work experience. Rich started their career as the President of InSITE from January 2008 to April 2010. Rich then served as a Board Member for InSITE from April 2010 to August 2011. From October 2010 to June 2014, they worked as an Engagement Manager and Sustainability & Resource Productivity Fellow at McKinsey & Company. In July 2014, they became the Chief Executive Officer of ClearPath. In August 2019, they joined the Export-Import Bank of the United States as a Member of the Advisory Committee, serving until August 2021.

Rich Powell has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University. Rich also holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to their university education, Rich attended Scranton High School. In addition to their academic credentials, Rich has obtained certification as a Commercial Pilot, specifically in Lighter-than-Air Free Balloon, from the Federal Aviation Administration in July 2004.
