Ioannis Papakrivopoulos has worked as a Control System Engineer at Cleverdist since 2021. Prior to that, they were a PHD Student and Control System Engineer at CERN from 2016 to 2021. During their time at CERN, they also worked as a PHD Student at the National Technical University of Athens from 2018 onwards. Ioannis'srole there involved data analysis in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at CERN, utilizing statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze data and measure the differential cross section of top anti top quark pairs with high transverse momentum.
Ioannis Papakrivopoulos holds a Master's degree in Physics and Technological Applications from the National Technical University of Athens, which was attained from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they obtained a Diploma in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences from the same university, from 2008 to 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Elementary Particle Physics at the National Technical University of Athens, starting in 2018.
