Aarya Mecwan has a diverse work experience in various industries. They started their career as an Intern at Project C.U.R.E. in 2018. In 2019, Aarya worked as a Software Engineering Intern at OnRule and had multiple roles at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, including Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Undergraduate Peer Career Coach, and Engineering Futures Mentor. They also interned at Medtronic in 2020, specifically in the Diabetes, R&D department as a Biomedical Engineering Intern. Aarya continued their internship at Medtronic in 2021, this time working in the Neurovascular, R&D department. In 2022, Aarya worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Medtronic in the Ear Nose Throat, R&D department. In 2023, Aarya had a role in the AI/Data Science Engineering II position at Medtronic. They were also a part of the Founders Circle at Pear VC. Currently, Aarya is the Director of Sustainable Fashion at Climate Cardinals, where they lead their team in research and launching collaborative initiatives with other organizations to drive progress in sustainable fashion practices.

Aarya Mecwan completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2021. Prior to that, they attended Girls Who Code in 2016-2017 and completed their high school education at Saratoga High School from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
