Hewan Teshome

Hewan Teshome has a diverse work experience in the legal field, with roles at various companies and organizations. Hewan is currently employed at the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena as the SVP and General Counsel. Prior to that, they worked at VICIS, Inc. as the VP and General Counsel, and also served as the Corporate Counsel and Leadership Operations. Hewan has also worked as an Independent Consultant at Legal and Business Advisory, as the VP of Corporate and Legal Affairs at SouthWest Holdings, and as an Associate in the Corporate, Finance, and Tax Group at Hogan Lovells. Hewan started their career as a Legal Intern at the Federal Communications Commission in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau.

Hewan Teshome obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from New York University in 2005. Hewan then pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Stanford Law School from 2005 to 2008. In 2004, they also briefly studied at the University of Havana.
