Cristina Romero

Cristina Romero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Cristina is currently working at Cloudbeds, where they started as an Onboarding Coach in June 2019 and later became the Onboarding Lead in September 2021. Prior to Cloudbeds, they owned and operated El Hostelito from April 2015 to June 2019. Before that, they served as an Administrator at BoutiQuito Design Hostel from January 2014 to July 2014. Cristina also worked as the Lead of Health Club at JW Marriott Quito from December 2012 to June 2013 and as an F and B Intern at Swissotel Quito in June 2011. Cristina gained valuable experience as an Alumn at Glion Institute of Higher Education from February 2009 to December 2010. Cristina worked in the hospitality industry at Esperanza An Auberge Resort as a Private Concierge and in the Sales Department from August 2009 to November 2009, and prior to that, they interned as a Private Concierge/Sales intern. Their earliest work experience was as a Hostess at San Telmo Restaurant from February 2007 to June 2007. Overall, Cristina Romero has a well-rounded background in the hospitality industry with a focus on onboarding, ownership, administration, and customer service.

Cristina Romero completed their Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Lodging Management at Johnson & Wales University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management and an Associate Degree in Hospitality Management at Glion Institute of Higher Education from 2008 to 2010. In 2007 and 2008, they pursued a minor in Psychology at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Additionally, Cristina also obtained two certifications, "Creating Positive Conversations with Challenging Customers" and "Leading Yourself," from LinkedIn in August 2019.
