Adam Rice has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Adam most recently worked as a Senior Manager of Engineering at CloudZero starting in March 2023. Before that, they served as the VP of Engineering at Emissary.io, where they ensured smooth running of software engineering processes and introduced new cloud-hosted SaaS products.

Prior to Emissary.io, Adam held the position of VP of Product Development at Centage for three years and was responsible for updating and introducing a new cloud-based version of their core product. Adam also worked as the VP of Digital Commerce Solutions at Cengage, where they led and guided a geographically distributed agile software engineering team.

Adam's earlier experience includes being the Head of eCommerce Engineering and Director of Software Engineering at Vantiv, overseeing multiple product development initiatives and supporting a $9.5M P&L. Adam started their career at Fidelity Investments as a Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead.

Additionally, Adam worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Litle & Co., a Senior Application Developer at Geode Capital Management, and a Senior Application Consultant at NerveWire, Inc. Adam began their career as a Software Development Consultant at Tallan.

Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a track record of successfully driving software development, quality assurance, product management, DevOps, and security & compliance in various organizations.

Adam Rice holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brown University. Adam is currently pursuing a degree in Human Factors in Information Design at Bentley University, which they have not yet completed. In 2019, Adam also joined the VP of Engineering Forum, a peer advisory group for software development executives, where they are expected to complete their education in software development. Additionally, Adam has obtained several certifications, including "Leadership Skills for The Future" from LinkedIn in February 2023, "Presenting Technical Information with Stories" from LinkedIn in November 2020, and "RLF (Regional Leadership Forum)" from the Society for Information Management in May 2013.
