William Hall-Jones

William Hall-Jones has extensive work experience in the legal field, primarily focused on trading and trade compliance. William most recently served as the Legal Director - Trading & Trade Compliance at COFCO International from December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel - Global Trading at COFCO International from January 2018 to December 2019. William also served as a Senior Counsel - Arbitration and Commercial Disputes at Louis Dreyfus Company from November 2016 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at COFCO International from July 2015 to October 2016 and as a Lawyer - Commodities and Freight at Bunge from 2012 to 2015. Before entering the corporate world, they gained experience as a Solicitor at HFW in 2011 and was admitted to the Roll at The Law Society in the same year. William also called to the Bar at The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2007.

William Hall-Jones attended Oxford Brookes University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Anthropology. Afterward, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Law at the same university. William then went on to study Law at BPP Law School from 2005 to 2007, completing the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Bar Vocational Course (BVC).
