Matthew Roddy

Matthew Roddy is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Cogito Corp since June 2020, previously serving as a Machine Learning Scientist. Prior to this role, Matthew Roddy worked at Trinity College Dublin from September 2015 to June 2020 as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate, focusing on conversational turn-taking models to improve spoken dialogue systems. Earlier experience includes a position as a Software Developer at VisiLit from November 2013 to September 2014, where development of a web application for large-scale event production teams was undertaken. Matthew Roddy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Dublin City University, a Master of Science in Music Technology from the University of Limerick, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity College Dublin.
