Jeff Miller

Jeff Miller has worked in the tech industry since 2006. Jeff began their career at XOJET as an IT Support Specialist and Software Engineer. In 2010, they took a Technical Support Associate position at Google, Inc. through Astreya Partners. In 2011, they worked as a Software Developer and Network Technician for Renascence IT Consulting and as a Software Engineer for CoverHound, Inc. In 2013, they joined Funny Or Die as a Software Engineer. Since 2015, they have been with Cognoa as a Senior Director, Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Lead Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer.

Jeff Miller began their educational journey by graduating from Foothill Technology High School in 2005 with a High School Diploma and an emphasis on Technology. Jeff then attended the University of California, Riverside from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, although they did not complete their degree. Next, they attended College of San Mateo from 2007 to 2008, studying Engineering Science but not receiving a degree. In 2008, they transferred to San Jose State University, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering before leaving the program in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Jeff Miller completed their education by earning a Computer and Information Science degree with a focus on Software Engineering from Notre Dame de Namur University.
