Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $125,000

 

Job Summary:

Cohen & Steers is currently seeking a highly motivated Trading System Support Analyst within the Information Technology department. They will be part of a dynamic team which supports the Order Management System (Investment, Trading, Investment Admin, Legal and Compliance) and works closely with the development team to support enterprise-level solutions. The candidate will need to multi-task and have experience supporting different technologies as well as have excellent communication skills. Recent experience working for an asset management firm, hedge fund, or trading system vendor, with experience supporting Order Management Systems, is required. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Maintain operational excellence by keeping environment secure and up to date
• Provide Tier-1 application support to the firm’s Order Management System (OMS)
• Collaborate with the OMS vendor
• Work closely with business users on application requests and issues
• Develop and execute test plans to verify solutions
• Prioritize issue resolution based on business risk
• Ensure deliverable deadlines are met
• Work on various projects and tasks
• Identify and advocate for improvements and efficiencies that can be made to the OMS
• Train new hires on best practices within the OMS

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong Understanding of Order Management Systems (Charles River, Eze Castle, Flex Trade, )
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology or related field
• Experience with SQL Server (writing queries, reading stored procedures, )
• Experience creating and monitoring scheduled jobs
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and provide resolutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
• Strong listening, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Recent experience at an Asset Management Firm, Hedge Fund, or Trading System Vendor
• Knowledge of publicly traded asset classes (equity, fixed income, derivatives, )
• Knowledge of the portfolio management process (positions, weights, benchmarks, )
• Knowledge of the trade and allocation lifecycle

Beneficial Skills: 

• Understanding of FIX protocol
• Experience with Alternative Trading Systems (TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Liquidnet, )
• Experience with CTM
• Scripting experience (Power Shell, )
• Knowledge of source control tools (GIT, Azure DevOps, )
