Landon Zinda serves as Policy Counsel at Coin Center since March 2023, focusing on fintech and cryptocurrency policy. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel for the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, where Landon drafted legislation and organized hearings on related topics from April 2021 to January 2023. Landon also held various positions in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2015 to April 2021, including Legislative Director, overseeing the House Financial Services Committee and co-chairing the Congressional Blockchain Caucus. Prior roles at The Heritage Foundation involved managing government affairs portfolios and collaborating with Congress on policy proposals. Landon started with internships in the offices of Senator Norm Coleman, Congressman Mark Kennedy, and Governor Tim Pawlenty. Landon holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a BA in Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College.
