Irma Galindo Tapia has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Irma started their career as a General Accountant at Equipos Mecanicos y Electromecanicos SA in 1992 before moving on to become a Personnel and Labor Relations Manager at Gemalto México SA de CV in 1999. Irma then worked as a Compensation and Benefits Manager Latam at Gemalto Cartoes e Terminais LTDA from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Group International Mobility Manager at Gemalto SA, overseeing international mobility and advising on policy roll-out. At Gemalto, they also served as the Human Resources VP Latam from 2011 to 2019, where they managed HR strategy for all Latin America sites and worked closely with the leadership team to align HR policies with business needs. Additionally, they took on the role of Human Resources Manager Mexico & Colombia, where they integrated HR manufacturing teams, gained certification for Great Place to Work and diversity, and built HR teams for technical and sales force. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as the Human Resources Director at Thales, overseeing multiple teams and working on post-acquisition integration and talent retention. Currently, they are the Transition Human Resources Director at COLAS since 2023.

Irma Galindo Tapia obtained a Master's degree in Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, from 2005 to 2008. Irma also completed a Management program in Business Administration and Management, General from IPADE Business School during 2013-2014. In 2019, they earned a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies from CapacitaRSE. Additionally, Irma holds a College degree in Business Administration from the University of the State of Morelos, completed from 1990 to 1995. Irma has also obtained additional certifications including an Executive Coach Certification from ACADÉMIE DU COACHING (to be obtained in 2024) and a Certificate in facilitating and designing workshops with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method from AVEA Partners (obtained in 2022).
