Brent Barker

Brent Barker has worked in the software engineering and quality assurance fields since 2009. Brent began their career at Cymphonix as a QA Engineer, where they created and executed test cases and wrote Selenium automated tests using Perl. In 2012, they joined Partnet, Inc. as a Software Engineer in Test, where they developed an Android demo app for the marketing team, researched and implemented pact tests for microservice containers, and did front end development using AngularJs, Bootstrap, Less, Bower, Grunt, and npm. Brent also helped develop a mobile app using Cordova and was the core author and developer of SeAuto, a bridge to Selenium from a Java test framework. In 2016, they moved to NCR Corporation as a Software Quality Engineer II. Most recently, they have been employed by Collective Medical a PointClickCare Company, where they have held the roles of Software Engineer in Test, Sr. Software Engineer in Test, and Principal Software Engineer in Test.

Brent Barker received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Weber State University in 2016, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science from Salt Lake Community College in 2014.
