Jared Callaham is an engineer with extensive experience in dynamic systems modeling, optimization, and simulation across various industries, including aerospace and automotive. Currently at Collimator, work involves designing a block diagram simulation engine for hybrid dynamical systems and leading service contracts. Previously, at Atomic Industries, Jared developed a multiphysics simulation tool that achieved significant cycle time and cost savings for heat exchanger design. Academic achievements include a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship at the University of Washington, focusing on data-driven modeling for fluid dynamics, and roles as a graduate assistant in applied mathematics. Early career includes internships at Boeing and Johns Hopkins University, and service as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, specializing in aircraft maintenance and manufacturing. Jared holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
