Jason Sebastian

Jason (Jay) Sebastian has extensive experience in leadership and data science roles, starting in 2004 as an Operations Pilot Training Officer in the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267. Jason (Jay) then transitioned to various positions within the Marine Corps, including Assistant Aviation Maintenance Officer and AH1W Combat Section Lead. Instructor Pilot. Sebastian later worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Data Science/AI Business Leader before joining COLSA in 2019 as a Sr. Solutions Architect. Recently, they have taken on the role of Director, Data Science and AI Programs at COLSA and serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Throughout their career, Sebastian has demonstrated expertise in technology, leadership, and business development.

Jay Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy (2001) and a Master of Science in Computer Science (Security and Information Assurance) from The George Washington University (2013). Jason (Jay) is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of North Alabama (expected completion in 2024). Jay also completed various certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (2014) and ITIL v3 Foundations (2011). Jason (Jay) has a diverse educational background with additional training in areas such as aviation and real estate.
