Brian Johnson

Brian A. Johnson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2001, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi, followed by a position as a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2002. In 2006, they joined Latham & Watkins as an Associate and then transitioned to Jane Street as a Trader in 2008. In 2012, they became the Chief Economist at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation. From 2015 onwards, they held multiple positions concurrently, including Senior Research Fellow at the Program on International Financial Systems, Research Fellow at Harvard Law School (until 2018), and currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Upper Road since February 2022.

Brian A. Johnson has a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Brian A. also holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Furthermore, Brian has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Yale University and has completed coursework in MSCF at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.
