Principal Mechanical Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems

Chris Tesluk is a highly experienced principal mechanical engineer currently working at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since January 2022. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of systems engineer at BD, contributing to the development of automated medical diagnostic equipment from March 2015 to January 2022. Previous experience includes a tenure as mechanical engineer and manager of the Fuel Processing Center of Excellence at Ballard Power Systems, where Chris focused on fuel processing technology and integration of energy solutions from November 2007 to March 2015. Chris began career as a mechanical engineer at Sceptor Industries, designing aerosol collection systems, and then served as principal R&D engineer at Kendall Healthcare, leading vascular therapy consumables development. Chris also worked as a principal R&D engineer at Insight Product Development from 1996 to 2001. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
