Position Summary
Application Engineers work as a member of the development team creating and maintaining software related to the CommunityWFM product offering. They will collaborate with the team on software projects, design complex software programs and applications, and incorporate internal and external feedback in software product development. They will document any features that they develop.
To ensure success as an application engineer, you should demonstrate advanced software development skills and extensive experience in determining software needs. A top-notch application engineer will be someone whose software design expertise translates into user-friendly and highly efficient applications.
Responsibilities
Requirements
Relevant bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in Cloud computing using the Microsoft stack (C#, AWS)
Workforce management industry, including data collection and analysis, forecasting, scheduling, and reportingis a nice to have
Proficient in C#, JavaScript, jQuery, TSQL, Net and other object-oriented programming languages
Azure DevOps, Git practical knowledge
Docker, Containers, Message Queues knowledge would be a nice to have
Well versed in designing, debugging and documentation
Hands on experience with SQL Server
Knowledge of troubleshooting tools such as SQL Profiler, Fidler, Wireshark, Postman, and Web browser dev tools
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communications skills
Ability to engage and collaborate at all levels of management
Aptitude in decision making and problem solving
