Bob Dougherty

Vice President, Digital Health Research at COMPASS Pathways

Bob Dougherty has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Bob started their career in 2000 as the owner of Vischeck, a company they owned until 2017. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Stanford University and then became the Research Director at the Center for Cognitive and Neurobiological Imaging until 2017. In 2016, they co-founded Research Radiology and served as the CTO until 2018. From 2014 to 2021, Dougherty worked at Mindstrong, where they held multiple positions including Senior Advisor, Head of Translational Sciences, and Vice President Research. Currently, they are employed at COMPASS Pathways plc as the Vice President of Digital Health Research, starting in 2021.

Bob Dougherty has a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University (1989-1991), a PhD in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1991-1996), and completed postdoctoral studies in Vision Science at The University of British Columbia (1996-1998) and in Neuroscience at Stanford University (1998-2000).
