Izbel Yusuf

Izbel Yusuf has a diverse and well-rounded work experience. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Medical Research Associate at the Medical Research Council until 2009. They then joined the NHS as an Oncology Research Doctor from 2009 to 2014. In 2013, they held the role of Honorary Lecturer for 3rd-year medical students and electives at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Medical Scientific Liaison-Oncology in the South East UK for Roche. They then transitioned to the role of Senior Country Clinical Operations Leader at Roche from 2016 to 2022. During this time, they also served as a Global Studies Leader from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Izbel Yusuf is working as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations at COMPASS Pathways, starting in 2022.

Izbel Yusuf received a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Pre-Med (Human Physiology) from Imperial College London in 2002. Later, from 2003 to 2004, they pursued a Master's degree in Endocrinology at the same institution. Subsequently, Yusuf completed their education at UCL, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine (Oncology) from 2005 to 2010.
