Taha K.

Taha K. has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and software development. Taha started their career in 2007 as a C/C++ teacher and root at EPITA. Taha also worked as a security engineer - Red Team at Groupe TF1.

In 2010, Taha worked as a C/C++ image processing programmer at General Electric and as a senior Java security programmer at Probance.

From 2011 to 2015, Taha worked as a security engineer and malware researcher at Symantec. Their responsibilities included analyzing and researching malware threats.

Taha then joined FireEye, Inc. in 2015 as a senior malware researcher and reverse engineer. In this role, they were part of the FireEye Labs ninja team, focused on tracking nation-state APTs and providing detection using public and proprietary tools.

Taha worked as a lead security researcher on special projects at a private company from 2016 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Taha served as the Head of Malware Research Lab at a private company. Taha built a tactical cyber threat intelligence program and a malware research lab, providing malware intelligence and analysis to customers. Taha also developed the first mobile cyber threat intelligence platform in the region.

In 2019, Taha founded their own company, Tephracore.

In 2019, Taha joined Confiant Inc. as the Director of Threat Intelligence. Taha built the company's cyber threat intelligence program, including an on-demand threat intelligence platform and a new malvertising attack matrix.

Taha K.'s education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled in EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique for their Bachelor of Computer Science degree, which they completed in 2006. Afterward, they pursued a Master Degree in Computer Science specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique, which lasted from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, Taha K. then attended Ionis-STM, école de double compétence, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Information Technology Project Management in 2010.
