Christina Liu

Christina Liu is the current Chief Accounting Officer at Confluent. Christina has previously held the position of SVP, Chief Accounting Officer at Zendesk from June 2013 to March 2021, during which time they built and scaled a team of 70+ professionals globally through IPO and over 10X growth to exceed $1B in revenue. Christina was also responsible for all accounting functions, international controllership, corporate real estate, tax, treasury, and sourcing. Prior to their work at Zendesk, Christina was a Senior Manager at KPMG from July 2004 to June 2013. During their time at KPMG, they led engagements for multinational SEC registrants and privately held companies through the IPO process. Christina has extensive experience in revenue recognition, business combination, share-based compensation, debt/equity financing, restructuring, income tax and various other technical accounting topics. Christina is also an instructor at national and local trainings.

Christina Liu has a Master's degree in Accounting from Washington State University - College of Business and Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tsinghua University, and a certification from the CPA.
