Soley Thorisdottir

Soley Thorisdottir has a diverse and extensive work experience in design and product operations. Soley currently holds the position of Director of Product Operations at Controlant, where they are responsible for strategic planning, collaboration between teams, and monitoring important metrics for the product division. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Operations Manager at Controlant, focusing on strengthening the product management framework and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Soley also has experience as a Product Design Manager and Head of Design at BIOEFFECT, where they managed product design projects and led a team of designers. In addition, they have worked as a designer for various international clients, specializing in branding identity and graphic design. Soley's career also includes roles as a designer at Dot Kite and Studio Sigga Heimis/LABLAND, where they worked on a range of design projects. Soley also served as a Member of the Evaluation Committee at the Technology Development Fund - Rannís.

Soley Thorisdottir received a Diploma in Design and Visual Arts Teaching from Listaháskóli Íslands in 2010. Soley also attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Product Design from the same institution between 2005 and 2008. In addition, they participated in an exchange program at Konstfack in 2007, studying Industrial Design.
