Laura Smith Callahan

Laura Smith Callahan is a Senior Principal Scientist-Biointerfaces at Convatec with a background in biomedical engineering. Laura has previously worked in research and academia, specializing in neural tissue engineering, tissue engineering applications, and bone tissue engineering systems. Laura has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and extensive experience in developing polymeric matrices to enhance cell transplant efficacy.
