Sofia Germani has extensive experience in user experience research and design. Sofia has held roles as a Principal User Experience Researcher at Convatec since 2023 and as a Senior User Experience Researcher at GN Group from 2020 to 2023. At GN Group, Sofia led qualitative research projects and developed end-user insights to inform experience strategy, product development, and marketing communication. Before joining GN Group, they worked as a User Experience Researcher at Coloplast, where they focused on gathering insights on female users of products within the Continence Care portfolio. In addition, Sofia has experience as a Research Assistant at the Service Design Department at IT-Universitetet i København, a Freelance Designer/videographer at Rigshospitalet, a Master Thesis Student at Coop Danmark, a Program Coordinator at From Now On, and a Service and Graphic Designer at Museu Nacional do Azulejo. Sofia's diverse background showcases their ability to conduct research, design experiences, and contribute to various projects.

Sofia Germani earned a Master of Arts in Design with a focus on Codesign from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK) from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a BA in Design, specializing in Industrial Design & Visual Communication, from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Conversations with vulnerable people from Samaritans in 2020, Medical Device Usability from BERGO in 2019, and Storytelling for Change from +Acumen in 2014. Sofia also holds a TOEFL iBT score of 116 out of 120 from 2014. In 2013, one of their projects called Mobili was selected to be displayed at the Muestra de Estudiantes Bid_Est Exhibition at Centros Iberoamericanos de Enseñanza de Diseño in Madrid.
