Manoj Kokal

Manoj Kokal has extensive work experience in the field of product management and engineering. Manoj is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management at Conversica since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Director, Product Management at Conversica starting from March 2021.

Before joining Conversica, Manoj worked at [24]7 from January 2016 to March 2021, where they served as the Director of Product Management. During their tenure, Manoj played a pivotal role in partnering with Data Scientists to launch a feature that detects user sentiment and escalates unhappy customers to human agents. Manoj also introduced unsupervised learning using utterance embedding to improve AI conversation accuracy, defined outcome-based billing models for chatbot, and launched open channel APIs for seamless integration.

From 2012 to 2016, Manoj worked at Chegg Inc. as a Product Leader. Manoj contributed to various product offerings and played a critical role in the acquisition of ZINCH, where they served as a Product Manager from 2011 to 2012. At ZINCH, Manoj owned and developed different modules of the digital product offering, creating user stories and prioritizing features in collaboration with different stakeholders.

Manoj also gained valuable experience at Tiny prints (now Shutterfly) as a Manager in the Order Management System department from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked at Yahoo! from 2000 to 2008, initially as a Sr Software Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager. Manoj'searly career includes roles at SVAM International as a Program Analyst and at Syntel as a Systems Engineer.

Manoj Kokal holds an MBA degree in Business from the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. Manoj completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from Thadomal Shahani Engineering School, Mumbai University between 1990 and 1994. Prior to their university studies, they attended St. Anne's High School for their secondary education. In addition to their formal education, Manoj has also obtained a certification in Executive Business Education - Product Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in June 2021.
