Karl Pettersson

Kalle Pettersson is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering at CorPower Ocean since January 2023. Previously, Kalle held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Mantex AB from September 2021 to January 2023 and has extensive experience at Scania Group from January 2016 to September 2021 with roles including Head of Gear Change Control Software and Head of Fluid and Combustion Simulation. Kalle's background includes management and consultancy positions focused on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) at FS Dynamics, ÅF, and Epsilon, as well as a thermal design role at Ericsson. Kalle completed a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where research involved numerical algorithms and fluid flow modeling.
