Dr. Kevin Lomuria

Dr. Kevin Lomuria is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in strategic health and public health emergency management. Currently serving as the Deputy County Director of Strategic Health Preventive Programs with the County Government of Turkana since July 2023, Dr. Lomuria previously worked as a Health Specialist in Public Health Emergencies at UNICEF from October 2022 to July 2023. Prior roles include Deputy Director of Medical Services for Turkana County Government and participation in the Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program under the Ministry of Health of Kenya. In addition, previous positions include Sub-County Medical Officer of Health and Resident Medical Officer within Turkana County and a Medical Officer Intern with the County Government of Trans Nzoia. Dr. Lomuria holds a Master's degree in Field Epidemiology from Moi University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Nairobi.
