Amir Mahmood has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amir is currently working at Cradlepoint as the Director of Technology Alliances & Partnerships, where they focus on identifying and nurturing technology partnerships to drive growth and value for the company. Amir is responsible for strategizing and executing joint go-to-market programs and building and managing partner pipelines to accelerate growth in various sectors.

Prior to their current role, Amir worked at Accenture as the Principal Director / CMT Business Development Lead, where they were responsible for business development, sales origination, and delivery of business and technology transformation engagements for tier-1 communications and media clients. Amir also led globally distributed teams in developing new consulting offers and industry Points-of-View to position and market innovative solutions.

Before joining Accenture, Amir held various leadership positions at AT&T. As the Director of Product Marketing & Business Development, they managed a team responsible for a portfolio of cloud-enabled SaaS and networking solutions targeting global enterprise and SMB segments. Amir also led partner product management and marketing as the Director of Strategic Product Partnerships, where they oversaw solution integration, GTM strategy, and operational alliance activities between AT&T Business, Google, and OEM software platform partner Broadsoft. Additionally, as the Director of Product Management & Partnerships - Advanced Mobility Solutions, they managed a team focused on delivering product vision and strategy, partner alliance management with Cisco, and sales and customer marketing efforts.

Amir also has experience working at Mavenir as the Director of Global Business Development & Solutions Marketing, Blackberry as a Senior Product Manager, Infovista S.A. as a Senior Manager of Global Product Marketing, CenturyLink Business for Enterprise as a Senior Manager of Product Planning & Strategy, Sprint as a Manager of Product Management, and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a Manager of Consulting Services. These roles allowed him to gain expertise in global product marketing, product management, and consulting services.

Throughout their career, Amir has successfully led teams, developed and executed strategic plans, and built strong partnerships with key industry players. Amir has a proven track record of driving growth, launching innovative solutions, and delivering value to clients.

Amir Mahmood has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University. Amir also holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from The University of Kansas. Additionally, Amir has completed an Executive Education program from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Amir attended La Salle High School as well. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Strategic Partnerships certification from LinkedIn in August 2020 and a Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts certification from LinkedIn in February 2019. Amir has also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2013. Finally, they acquired a Pragmatic Marketing - Practical Product Management certification from Pragmatic Marketing in 2007.
