Darren Kastner

Darren Kastner has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Darren is currently working at Cradlepoint as a Strategic Account Manager for Utilities since March 2021. Before joining Cradlepoint, Darren held the position of Vice President and General Manager at SafeMobile - An AIR Company from October 2013 to November 2020. At SafeMobile, they focused on delivering data and communication management solutions globally. Prior to that, Darren served as the Vice President Sales and Marketing - North America at Sub10 Systems Ltd. from November 2011 to April 2013. Sub10 Systems specializes in designing and selling Millimeter Wave (MMW) Wireless Ethernet Bridges.

In 2010, Darren worked as the Director of Sales Government and Public Safety at IPWireless, a company that specializes in mobile broadband systems using 3GPP/LTE technology. From 2002 to 2009, they held various roles at Motorola/NextNet Wireless, starting as the Director of Sales/Strategic Accounts Manager EMEA for NextNet Wireless OFDM Expedience Platform and later overseeing Strategic Accounts for EMEA for the Motorola Wi4 Expedience Platform after its acquisition by Motorola in 2006.

Darren's earlier career includes positions at WorldCom as a Senior Project Manager (2000-2002), Andrew Corporation/Conifer Corporation as a Sr Project Manager-Eastern Regional Manager (1999-2000), Rusko Corporation as a Director of Engineering (1997-1998), Metromedia International Group as a Manager Field Engineering (1995-1997), and the US Army as a Tactical Telecommunications Electronic Warfare specialist (1987-1991).

Darren Kastner pursued their education at Penn State University from 1992 to 1994. During this period, they successfully completed a double major in Broadcast Communications and Russian Language, earning their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
