Sun Kim

Sun Kim has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sun is currently working as a Senior R&D Engineer at Cradlepoint since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Test Engineer at Vivint Smart Home from April 2018 to May 2020. At Vivint, Sun provided technical leadership, collaborated with product management and development, and performed testing on cellular two-way calls over LTE. Before Vivint, Sun was a Global Technical Marketing Executive at Keypair, Inc. from December 2016 to March 2018. Sun introduced a cryptocurrency cold wallet to wholesale customers and expanded Keypair's presence in multiple regions. Sun also has extensive experience at Ericsson, where they worked as a System Test Lead and Technical Project Lead from October 2007 to December 2016. Sun developed test plans and procedures, executed test scenarios, and verified essential functions of switching and routing. Prior to Ericsson, Sun worked at Onsite Systems as a System Test & Technical Support Lead, where they were responsible for in-house system testing, customer support, and training. Sun also worked at Alidian Networks Inc as a System Test Lead, where they provided technical support for customer projects and architected Metro Area Network solutions. Sun started their career at Lucent Technologies as a System Integration and Test Engineer, where they executed system integration testing and handled complex technical issues.

Sun Kim has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Griffith University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education from Korea University. Sun has also obtained several additional certifications, including Python Automation and Testing from LinkedIn, Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) from CWNP, and SD-WAN Peak Performance from Silver Peak, all in 2020.
