Annabel Clarance

Annabel Clarance has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Annabel is currently the Director of Data and Head of Computer Science at Cranford House School since August 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Computing and Head of Year 11 at the same school from September 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Cranford House School, Annabel worked at Headington School, Oxford Ltd, where they held the roles of Computer Science and Mathematics Teacher, Head of Year Nine, and Head of Cherwell House from September 2018 to September 2021. Annabel also has experience as a Mathematics Teacher and Dance Instructor at The White Mountain School from July 2016 to June 2018 and as a Mathematics and Computer Science Teacher at Kimball Union Academy from May 2015 to June 2016. Annabel has also worked as a Consulting Web Technician and Independent Tutor at Dancing with Annabel from March 2013 to September 2015. Annabel has experience as a Ski Instructor at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort from December 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, Annabel has served as a Teaching Assistant in History, DanceForms Lecture Assistant, and Graduate Assistant in Studio Scheduling at Mills College from August 2013 to May 2014. Annabel has also worked as a Visiting Artist at A.C.P.P.A. Community Arts Center from September 2011 to May 2012 and as a Choreographer at Escape Velocity Dance Company from September 2009 to May 2012. Lastly, Annabel has worked as a Peer Tutor in Mathematics and Computer Science at Ursinus College from January 2009 to May 2012.

Annabel Clarance has an extensive education history. Annabel started their academic journey at Choate Rosemary Hall, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. During this period, they did not receive a degree, and their specific field of study is unknown.

After graduating from high school, Annabel went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at Ursinus College from 2008 to 2012. Their major was Mathematics, and they also concentrated in Computer Science and Secondary Education.

Simultaneously, Annabel pursued their passion for dance and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Dance from Ursinus College during the same period from 2008 to 2012.

Following their undergraduate studies, Annabel continued their education at Mills College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Dance.

Recently, in 2021, Annabel enrolled at the University of Oxford, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Learning and Teaching with a focus on Education. Their expected graduation date is in 2023.
