Sandra Nunez has held various roles in the field of Human Resources, starting in 1998 as an Administrative Assistant at Marriott International. Sandra then worked as a Benefits Coordinator and later as a Human Resources employee at Marriott Hotel. Sandra joined Marriott International again in 2008 as a Performance Development Manager. Sandra then worked as a Human Resources Manager at the New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott Hotel. Sandra later joined Aimbridge Hospitality as a Director of Human Resources and then as an Area Director of Human Resources for the NY/NJ region. Sandra's next position was with Crescent Hotels and Resorts, where they served as the Director of Human Resources. Sandra then joined Areté Education Inc. as a Human Resources Business Partner, collaborating with the Executive Director and overseeing various HR operations. Currently, Sandra is employed at Crescent Hotels & Resorts as an Area Director of People and Culture.

Sandra Nunez has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Phoenix. Sandra attended the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from Baruch College, which they attended from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Sandra Nunez has obtained several certifications. In August 2020, they completed the COVID-19 Contact Tracing certification from Coursera. In August 2019, they obtained the TIPS Trainer certification from Health Communications, Inc. In January 2019, they became a Notary Public - State of New York, certified by the Department of State.
