Segun Adeniyi

Segun Adeniyi has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Segun is currently working as a Senior SEO Strategist at Critical Mass since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an SEO Specialist at VMLY&R from September 2021 to May 2022 and as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist at GTB from September 2021 to December 2021.

Before their roles in digital marketing, Segun Adeniyi co-founded and led the marketing efforts as the Head of Marketing at Silvercrown IT Solutions from July 2014 to August 2021. In this role, they managed a cross-functional team and implemented successful marketing strategies for multiple clients. Segun conducted keyword research, managed PPC campaigns, implemented link building strategies, performed technical audits, and optimized websites to improve core web vitals.

Segun's work experience also includes a role as a Technical Coordinator at Barca Residency Academy from November 2016 to February 2019. In this position, they were responsible for coaching, coach education, and recruitment.

Furthermore, they have worked as a Marketing & Growth Executive at The Nigerian Expression from March 2017 to December 2018. Here, they established the organization's editorial voice, developed a cohesive marketing plan, analyzed data, and managed a team of freelance writers.

Earlier in their career, Segun Adeniyi served as a Content Strategist at Connection Point from January 2016 to February 2017, where they drove customer acquisition through email marketing and content planning. Segun also worked as a Strategic Campaign Coordinator for the All Progressive Congress (APC) Media and Communications Team from March 2014 to December 2015, where they participated in the development and creation of campaign materials for the Nigerian Presidential Elections.

Segun started their career as an IT Intern at SW Global Limited from February 2011 to July 2011.

Segun Adeniyi has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Redeemer's University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Segun later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Strategic Marketing at Cardiff Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2016.
