Sumit Deshpande has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sumit currently works as the Head of Customer Success & Solutions at CRMNEXT, a position they have held since January 2018. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2017, Sumit served as the Chief Consultant at The Dyfference Consulting. Sumit also worked at Fidelity Investments as VP, Digital Technology - Personal Investing from May 2015 to December 2016. Before that, they held the position of VP, Digital Channel - Mobile Banking & Account Opening at BB&T from February 2008 to April 2015.

Sumit has also worked as a Principal Consultant at GCA-Link, where they provided advisory services to BB&T in setting up their mobile banking and alerts strategy. Sumit started their career at CA Inc. in 1999 as VP, Office of the CTO, where they led the Wireless & Mobile Solutions group. Sumit played a key role in developing security management software for enterprises adopting wireless and mobile technologies. Sumit also has experience in business development as a Manager at Marist College and as an Analyst at International Data Corp. Asia/Pacific.

Additionally, Sumit has volunteered at St. Stephen's Society / New Life Fellowship. Recently, in 2022, they joined Pavilion as a Member. Throughout their career, Sumit has demonstrated expertise in customer success, digital technology, consulting, and business development.

Sumit Deshpande's education history starts with their high school education at Barnes High School, where they obtained their ICSE degree from 1980 to 1988. After completing high school, they attended Wadia College / Pune University from 1988 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science (BCS). In 1997, they enrolled in Marist College and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science & Information Systems, which they completed in 1999.

Later, in 2012, Sumit attended Wake Forest University's BB&T Banking School for a year, focusing on Economics, Finance, Process Management, and Banking Operations.

Sumit has also obtained various additional certifications, including the Scaled Scrum Expert Accredited Certification and the Scrum Coach Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute. Sumit received these certifications in July 2017. In the same month and year, they also obtained the Scrum Product Owner Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute. In March 2017, Sumit became a certified Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker through the John Maxwell Group. Additionally, they achieved the Series 99 certification from FINRA in September 2015 and the Certified Product Manager certification from the Association of International Product Marketing and Management (AIPMM) in June 2011.
