Theresa Barthel

Theresa Barthel has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Theresa is currently the VP of PMO and Operations at CrowdStrike since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Splunk from 2018 to 2021, holding multiple roles as Chief of Staff to the Chief Digital Officer and Chief of Staff to the CDO/Sr Director IT PMO. Before Splunk, Theresa worked at Apple as the Chief of Staff for Internet Services Operations from 2017 to 2018. Theresa also had roles at Yahoo! Inc. from 2013 to 2017, including Chief of Staff to the Chief Architect and Chief of Staff for Production Engineering in Platforms and Personalization. Theresa'searlier experience includes positions at Yahoo! as Director of Program Manager/Group Program Manager and Director of Program Management. Theresa also worked at Knight Ridder Digital as a Senior Project Manager and Director of the Western Region.

Theresa Barthel received their Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising/Marketing from San Jose State University between 1989 and 1994. Theresa is currently working towards completing an Advanced Program Management Certificate from Stanford University, which they started in 2011 and is expected to complete in 2012. Additionally, they have obtained the Lean Portfolio Management certification from the ICAgile institution in 2023.
