Andrew J. Sakalarios

Andrew J. Sakalarios has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of tax and legal services. Starting in 2008, they began their career as an Associate Attorney at Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P., where they worked until 2011. Following this, they worked as an Associate Attorney at Glankler Brown, PLLC from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2021, Andrew held the position of Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte, specializing in Private Wealth and Estate, Gift, Trust, and Charitable matters. Andrew J. then transitioned to a role as a Tax Managing Director at CBIZ MHM, LLC from December 2021 to March 2022. Subsequently, they joined BDO USA as a Tax Managing Director in the National Tax Office - Private Client Services, where they worked until December 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Global Private Client Services Tax Principal focusing on Estate, Gift, and Trust matters at Crowe since December 2023. Alongside their professional roles, Andrew has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Mississippi in 2017.

Andrew J. Sakalarios has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Texas Christian University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Andrew J. then pursued an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Pearl River Community College, which they completed from 1999 to 2001. Sakalarios went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi, both completed from 2004 to 2006. Lastly, they obtained an LL.M. in Taxation, with a Certificate in Estate Planning from Georgetown University Law Center, completed in 2008.
