Xin "Cyrus" Huang is a Senior Research Scientist II at Cruise, focusing on scalable machine learning behavior models for self-driving cars since September 2022. Previously, Huang served as a Research Assistant at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) from September 2016 to August 2022, developing advanced prediction, planning, and simulation models for autonomous systems. Huang has interned at notable organizations, including Waymo, Toyota Research Institute, and Mayfield Robotics, achieving recognition such as an Honorable Mention in the Argoverse Motion Forecasting Competition. Huang holds a PhD in Autonomous Systems and a Master’s in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College.
