Andreas Schumacher

Andreas Schumacher is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and executive leadership within the technology and electronic sectors. Currently a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Andreas also serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Schweizer Electronic AG. Previously, Andreas held the position of Executive Vice President for Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions at Infineon Technologies and was the Head of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Communications for Siemens Financial Services. Early career roles include Senior Director & Head of Marketing Infrastructure at Qimonda, along with responsibilities in Emerging Country Sourcing and Supply Chain Development at Siemens. Andreas holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a Dipl.-Phys. in Physics, both from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
