Lidia de la Cruz

Lidia De La Cruz is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in technology, education, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Technical Resident in AI Fellow at Colorwave, Lidia participates in the TRAC Program, which supports underrepresented technical talent in AI and ML. In addition to a role in Developer Relations at Destruction Labz, Lidia has contributed as a Web Development TA at CUNY Tech Prep and as a Developer Advocate at Poderosa Coding, where skills in content creation for software engineering are utilized. Previous experience includes positions at Thoughtworks, Instructure, the NYC Department of Education, and The American Dream School, where Lidia engaged in software engineering, technical support, and operational management. Lidia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lehman College and is furthering knowledge in Artificial Intelligence through ongoing education with SkillUp Training Center and The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy.
