Mark Gladstone

Mark Gladstone has worked in the IT industry since 2012. In 2014, they worked as a Network Operation Center Technician at Innovative Network Solutions Corp, where they assisted with annual vulnerability testing and performed audits of Share and NTFS permissions. In 2017, they began working at Rapid7 as a Penetration Tester, conducting internal, external, web application, vulnerability assessment, and social engineering engagements. Mark also worked as a Support Success Analyst, leading operational projects impacting multiple departments and conducting research and data analytics. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Forum Support Engineer, assisting customers with troubleshooting Rapid7's security software products. In the same year, they also worked as a Network Security Engineer at Block Ransomware LLC, where they developed and deployed a ransomware prevention solution. In 2021, they began working at Cyber Defense Labs as an Offensive Security Specialist, conducting web application and network penetration tests in accordance with OWASP Top 10 web application guidelines, CVSS 3.1 scoring, and the NIST framework.

Mark Gladstone obtained a Masters degree in Cybersecurity from Mercy College in 2017 and a Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity from Mercy College in 2016. Mark also holds certifications from Offensive Security (OSCP, obtained in October 2019), Rapid7 (InsightIDR Certified Specialist and InsightVM Certified Administrator, both obtained in October 2017, and Metasploit Pro Certified Specialist, obtained in October 2017), and CompTIA (Network+, obtained in January 2018, and Security+, obtained in February 2018).
