Mark M. has extensive experience in the technology sector. Mark began their career in 1998 as a Computer Science Trainee at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where they worked with digital security and encryption APIs in Java and C, and co-authored multiple NIST Special Publications on computer and network security. In 2000, Mark became a Consultant at Cyber Security, where they conducted penetration testing and performed secure network engineering. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they supported NIST authoring numerous special publications on operating system and server security, and developed the Automated Security Self-Assessment Tool (ASSET). From 2003 to 2006, Mark was a Senior Consultant at RABA Technologies, where they conducted vulnerability analysis and reverse engineering of Windows, Linux, and Apple OS X software. Mark then moved to SRA International, where they held the role of Senior Member Technical Staff and was involved in vulnerability research, Linux kernel development, and enterprise network design and break-fix support. For the last 13 years, Mark has been the Chief Technology Officer at CyberPoint International, where they have identified, experimented, and prototyped technology services, solutions, and products to help customers protect what is invaluable. In 2022, Mark became the Chief Technology Officer at arctonyx.

Mark M. attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree and a BS in Computer Science.
