Vassili Skarine has over 10 years of experience working in the field of engineering. Vassili started their career at Unsynced as an engineer and co-founder in 2009 and later worked at Qualcomm. In 2011, they joined Addepar as an engineer and team lead, followed by a promotion to VP Engineering in 2013. In 2014, they briefly worked at Firebase before joining Liveli as an engineer and co-founder. Liveli was later acquired by LongGame. In 2017, Vassili worked at Snap Inc. as an engineer before becoming a startup consultant and joining Pinatafarms. Vassili worked on building scalable serverless backends for social media apps and provided technical advice to early-stage startups. Vassili also worked as an engineer at Meta before joining Americana Technologies as the interim director of engineering, manufacturing a chip that had public and private key associated with it. Currently, they are the Head of Engineering at Cybersyn.
