Associate Director, Biostatistics at Cytel

Molly Young, DrPH, has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics. Molly is currently working as an Associate Director of Biostatistics at Cytel since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Biostatistician at Clinipace from March 2021 to November 2021. Molly also served as the Director of Biostatistics at Cytel from July 2020 to February 2021, where they were responsible for various tasks including serving as an independent unblinded statistician for Data Safety Monitoring and Safety Review Boards, developing Statistical Analysis Plans, conducting statistical analyses and data review. Molly has also worked as a Contract Biostatistician at Cytel from March 2016 to July 2020, and at Clinipace Worldwide from January 2014 to July 2020. Molly has previously held positions as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University from September 2012 to September 2013, a Biostatistician at the UNC Dept of Statistical Genetics from December 2008 to April 2013, a Biostatistician at the Program on Aging, Yale University from January 2004 to February 2005, and a Biostatistics Research Assistant at UNC, Department of Biostatistics, Biometrics Consulting Lab from August 1998 to June 2003. Molly's earlier work experience includes roles as a Biostatistician at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and a Biostatistics Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, Dept of Biostatistics.

Molly Young, DrPH, pursued their education in a sequential manner, starting with their undergraduate studies at Trinity University. Molly obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Science/Math from Trinity University, completing their studies from 1984 to 1988. Following this, they decided to further their knowledge in the field of Biostatistics and enrolled at the University of Michigan. There, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biostatistics, which they completed from 1993 to 1995. With a strong foundation in Biostatistics, they continued their academic journey at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they pursued a Doctor of Public Health (Dr.P.H.) degree in the same field. Molly successfully completed their doctoral studies from 1998 to 2003 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
