Likith Ponnanna has a wealth of experience in the fields of Machine Learning and Computer Science. Likith began their career in 2014 as an Intern at Team STUDSAT, where they created an image feature extraction dashboard for satellite payload camera data using OpenCV and MATLAB. In the same year, they Co-Founded Cosmoscart, where they managed the company's day-to-day operations and inventory of T-Shirts. In 2015, they Co-Founded Wooterra, where they managed Real Estate clients and conducted regular construction site surveys using aerial drones. Likith also took part in a research collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science, where they worked on their Final Year Project for completion of their Bachelor's degree. In 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer Co-op at Kodak Alaris, where they trained an Object detection model with a F1-score of 0.95 to detect and classify PDF documents. Likith also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where they worked on Vision Language Navigation of robotic agents in a novel environment. In 2020, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, where they mentored and graded a combined 300+ students and solved any programming and theoretical queries during office hours. In 2021, they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Quantiphi, where they developed a real-time multi-stream IVA solution to detect breaches utilizing a hybrid cloud (AWS & GCP). Currently, they are working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cyvl.ai, transitioning to a cloud-agnostic solution.
Likith Ponnanna obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology between 2012 and 2016. Likith then went on to earn a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University between 2018 and 2020. Likith has also obtained several certifications, including a Building Real-Time Video AI Applications certification from NVIDIA in September 2022, an AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022, an IBM - Scalable Machine Learning on Big Data using Apache Spark certification from Coursera in March 2021, an Apache Spark Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in February 2021, a Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra certification from Coursera in February 2021, a C++: Advanced Topics certification from LinkedIn in February 2020, and a C++ Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in January 2020.
