Manish Narayan

Manish Narayan has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering and IT industries. Manish began their career in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer at CCS, Inc., where they were responsible for architecture and programming enterprise software. In 2013, they joined IBM as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, where they worked on Big Data, Cloud, Mobile, ETL Development, Application development, Application Management, and System Integration. Later that same year, they joined Bank of America as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in enhancing the Loan Modification Application.

In 2015, Manish Narayan joined Total Merchant Services as Vice President of Software Engineering, POS SDK Integration. Two years later, in 2018, they joined AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC as Vice President of Software Engineering (Data Services & Web Development). Manish was then promoted to First Vice President of Software Engineering (Data Services & Web Development). At the same time, they also joined Udemy as a Best-Selling Instructor, where they taught courses to over 30,000 students from 167 countries in 43 languages.

In 2016, Manish Narayan founded Innovative Institution, providing tutoring, corporate training, test preparation, and customized software consulting services. Manish also joined California State University, Northridge as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in 2007. In 2020, they joined DACK, Inc. as CIO, and in 2022 they joined Upwork as Regional CxO Adviser, where they consulted for AWS, Microsoft, Tegus, Zintro, MeasureMatch, Maven, NewtonX, and GLG.

Manish Narayan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Stanford University, expected to be completed in 2026. Prior to this, they obtained an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematical Physics from California State University, Northridge between 1998 and 2008. Manish also has certifications in Quantum Computing from MIT Professional Education (obtained in 2023), Blockchain Solutions Architect from Blockchain Training Alliance (obtained in 2022), Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect from Microsoft Azure Community (obtained in 2020), and AWS Cloud Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS) (obtained in 2018).
