Ahmed Al Afifi has over 19 years of experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Ahmed is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Data Direct Group since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of General Manager at the same company from February 2019. Before joining Data Direct Group, Ahmed worked at PCCI Group from February 2016 to February 2019, where they served as the Chief Commercial & Business Officer, managing the commercial strategy and overseeing operations in twelve core countries. Earlier in their career, Ahmed worked as the Vice President - Business Development at Teleperformance from March 2014 to February 2016. Ahmed also worked at Vocalcom as a Territory Manager from March 2014 to March 2015, and at Majorel as a Country Manager from July 2010 to March 2014, where they also served as the Head of International Business Development from November 2008 to June 2010. Ahmed started their career at Vodafone as an Operations Manager from November 2006 to November 2008. Before that, they worked at Amecotech as the Director of Sales and Marketing from April 2004 to May 2006. Ahmed also held positions at ANI Networks as a Senior Branch Manager from January 2004 to March 2006, and at Amecotech as a Sales Manager from February 2002 to December 2003, and as a Senior Sales Executive from February 2000 to January 2002.
Ahmed Al Afifi completed their bachelor's degree in Computers from the New York Institute of Technology in the years 1999 to 2003.
