Elizabeth Anne Watkins, PhD has a diverse work experience. Elizabeth Anne began their career in 2012 as Co-Editor in Chief of Sensate Journal. In 2013, they were a HyperStudio Fellow at the Program in Comparative Media Studies at MIT. Elizabeth Anne also worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School from 2013-2015. During this time, they researched and co-wrote case studies about innovations in digital marketing and conducted interviews at the Coca-Cola world headquarters. From 2015-2018, Elizabeth Anne Watkins, PhD was a PhD Candidate at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2018, they were a Research Assistant at Google via Adecco. From 2020-2021, they were an Expert Consultant at the United Nations Roundtable 3C on Artificial Intelligence. Currently, they are a Research Scientist in the Social Science of Artificial Intelligence at Intel Labs.

Elizabeth Anne Watkins, PhD has a long and varied education history. Elizabeth Anne began their studies in 2004 at UC Irvine, where they earned a B.A. In 2010, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the field of Art, Culture, and Technology. In 2014, they studied Statistics and Quantitative Methods at the Harvard Extension School. From 2013 to 2015, they studied Digital Marketing Strategy at the Harvard Business School. In 2016, they studied User Experience Research at Cornell University. In 2017, they studied Organizational Theory at the NYU Stern School of Business. Finally, from 2015 to 2021, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Columbia University in Communications.
