Joy Dempsey

Joy Dempsey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Starting in 2017, they worked as a Police Officer at West Midlands Police, where they received accolades for their performance and community work. During their time there, they arrested offenders, mediated fights, and actively participated in charity work.

In 2018, they transitioned to the sales field and joined Senate Media Ltd as a Sales Development Representative. After a few months, they moved to Bloomreach, where they initially served as a Sales Development Representative before being promoted to EMEA Team Lead and eventually EMEA Sales Development Manager. In these roles, they managed and led teams, ensuring their success in generating sales leads.

Currently, Joy is working at Dataminr, starting in 2021. Joy began as a Manager of Sales Development, overseeing a team of Sales Development Representatives across London and Melbourne. Recently, they have been promoted to Senior Manager before assuming their current position as Director of Global Sales Development.

Throughout their work experiences, Joy has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, team management abilities, and a dedication to achieving results.

Joy Dempsey attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls from 2007 to 2014. After completing their secondary education, they went on to study at the University of Oxford from 2014 to 2017. At Oxford, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. In August 2021, they also obtained a certification in "Making Quick Decisions" from LinkedIn.
